   We only had the name of James P Beall from an obituary of his son Zephaniah until June 16, 1997; when we received information that pushed our family tree back to Alexander Beall Sr, 1621 in Scotland. The Internet is truly a genealogist's "dream come true".

   We are searching for the brother and sisters of John Wayman Beall, 1879; children of James 
Perry Beall. James moved his family from near Cadiz, Harrison Co, Ohio; to near Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio when Zephaniah was six years old; about 1853.  At the age of sixteen, Zephaniah joined Company E, 34th O.V.I.; in which he spent over two years in the Civil War.  Most of his soldiering was done under General Sheridan in the Shenandoah Valley. 

   On June 27,1872,  he m. Jennie A Foster of Bucyrus, Ohio.  They came to Fulton County,Ohio.
